News Release — “More Than A Huntin’ Dog…” TM– THE SERIES of Hound DVDs

“MORE THAN A HUNTIN’ DOG…” TM DVD SERIES—First Release:

Because you asked for it!Tone Recall” shares Vickie Lamb’s successful method on teaching hounds to come when called without interfering with your dog’s hunting drive and ability. It’s a method that works under any conditions, even the unforgiving terrain and harsh climate found in places like Montana, Wyoming, and far west Texas, where extremists live and interact year-round.

Once you’ve had a hound that will “handle” you’ll never want to do without this trained response in any of your dogs, ever again. All of this can be done without electric stimulation. This DVD shows you how to combine “long distance communication” –delivered by tone from an e-collar—between you and your hound. Even more, it reveals many fundamental principles on dog training that are useful day in and day out, all year long in living and hunting with your dog.

“More Than A Huntin’ Dog…” TM (the series) delivers a special way of life between you and your dog, and does so throughout an entire year of puppyhood and progression. And, it’s more than that.  Vickie has discovered something indefinable after decades of dog training and living and hunting with dogs in her own right.  This series is the beginning of that journey.

Join Vickie in showing you how to teach your dog the finer points of recall, no matter what he’s doing or where you are. First in a series, Tone Recall is based on this fundamental principle: It’s all about the dogs, and that fairly interacting with them not only enriches their lives, it enhances yours, as well.

Currently Available: “More Than A Huntin’ Dog…”™ Puppies–Birth to Four Months and by late August 2017, Puppies–Five to Eight Months,
with Puppies Nine to Twelve Months available by Christmas 2017.

Promise in Sunrise…

Sunrise Vickie Lamb Outdoors

In every sunrise, promise radiates with each ray of light and breathtaking moment… Our Creator always knows best… and these first glimpses reflect such miracles in time.

It’s a new day!

Please enjoy some of my favorite sunrises posted occasionally in this blog… when zee camera is fortunate to catch them within zee lens…

Old Dogs Rule…

… Moses commands a certain respect… one that mirrors wisdom and experience and radiates an intangible ethereal quality. In being privileged to occupy the same life space as him, I’m humbled in sensing and sharing his caring as he protects puppies and chickens. He takes his responsibilities seriously in appointing himself as their guardian… With the first glints of sunlight in the morning, he’s ambled out and ensconced himself directly betwixt and between them.

Puppies!!! Working Hound Crosses (Test Post)

Two dynamic crossbred litters of hounds whelped in early November of 2011 are showing the potential flowing through their veins. A variety of photos will be posted soon and you’ll quickly see why we’re so thrilled with each of these pups.

The first cross is a “Bone Collector” sired Walker female bred to a big game Catahoula-Bloodhound. Bones and Happy have produced six fine puppies including five females and one male puppy.

The second is a Catahoula female crossed on a Yadkin-bred treeing Walker male. Eight handsome puppies from this cross of Belle and Big Guy include four males and four females.

We’re really excited about these puppies and stand behind their potential. Now four months old, their development thus far has been in west Texas, and they’ll spend the summer months in northern Michigan as they continue in their education with guidance from me.

A select number of puppies will be available for sale later this year. Deposits will be accepted with male or female preference in order received. Deposits will be $100 non-refundable, and will hold your choice.

Prices will be per puppy based on level of training at the time of sale. Shipping, FOB, on major airlines is available, and delivery on routes between Michigan and Texas may be possible.

These will be working hounds ideally suited for grueling conditions in any environment. Please inquire by email or phone message for more details. Additional information will be posted here.
